"Dear Julie, Just wanted to say how great it has been wearing my new wig- it has given me such confidence. Feedback from friends and family has been wonderful, so positive. People who haven't known I  lost my hair, think I have just had it restyled a different way. They are completely shocked when I say it is a wig. I am so pleased with my hair piece, that I am ordering another one in another colour. Thank you so much."

Hair Loss Support Groups E-mail

Dealing with hair loss? You are not alone. Talking can help.
This group is designed to be a mutually supportive forum for people dealing with any type of hair-loss. Including Alopecia, chemotherapy, age related thinning, thyroid, menopause, or trichotillomania.
Losing your hair even for a short while is traumatic and isolating. This group is designed to provide much needed support and information at a time when it is needed most. Through this group people can come and meet other people and share experiences.
There has been some interest expressed in having some guest speakers at some of the meetings. So this year I will be asking the occasional guest to speak. The intention is to provide you with information on resources and products available. You will not be pressured to buy anything or provide any personal details.
The next meeting will be on 6th Feb  7:30-9:30pm
Mary Corrigan will be our guest talking about her hair loss experience and her book "What's Up with my Hair?"
